The Riverview Health Centre Foundation is hosting the 2nd Annual fundraiser titled the Event. This Designer Competition and Auction Dinner will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, 2009.
This fundraising event centers on the imagination and creative talents of top Winnipeg Designers. The Designers will have free rein to create their "Works of Art" with a dining room theme. This one-of-a-kind spectacular event will assemble some of the most talented and celebrated individuals in the design community who will create three dimensional dining installations that awe, inspire and delight.

The Proceeds
All proceeds support Rehab Programs and Services at Riverview Health Centre. These rehab services are a growing mandate of the Centre and the Province of Manitoba.

WHAT IS THE EVENT ?What exactly is the Event? It's a fundraising event for Riverview Health Centre Foundation which showcases the personal passions of some of Winnipeg's leading Design talents. Each participant is given a set amount of space and the freedom to create their own dining environment. The Sky is the limit. It is a evening of great design and entertainment with proceeds going to support enhanced Rehabilitation programs and services at Riverview Health Centre. the Event is new to Winnipeg but has been a successful signature event for many other communities in Canada and the US. WHO CAN DESIGN A TABLE?Riverview Health Centre Foundation welcomes creative individuals from all fields to try their hand at designing a table. Participants will include interior designers, graphic designers, landscape architects, retail merchandisers, architects, floral designers. You may choose a team of friends or co-workers to create a table. Many table designers get their companies or firms to sponsor their table. The only cost that table designers incur is for supplies and materials used to personalize the design of their table. You or a team of individuals can let your imagination run wild and create a dining environment that will be enjoyed by patrons of the event. ATTEND THE EVENTTickets for this event are available to purchase at $200 each. Or you may purchase a corporate table or host a Table of 10 for $2,000.
